FFCC: Dee Kat and Chee

My player character from the LP of the original FFCC I'm doing on Serenes Forest forums. Slightly redesigned selkie (those tennis rackets are stupid, why not daggers) and a moogle with wings big enough to actually fly with. Slightly redesigned crystal chalice. One of the wings didn't fit on the paper.

Appearance:
Shoulder length, messy dark red hair, copper brown eyes. Pale skin. About average build, but lean and athletic like a typical selkie. Adult size is 5'3" and 126 pounds. Normally wears a fur lined sleeveless shirt, waist sash, simple pants and boots. Carries a drawstring backpack and keeps her dagger hilted on a belt across her waist.

Personality:
Sassy, prone to sarcasm on occasion. Would rather be out training than cooped up in stuffy forges, much to her father's chagrin. Also quite studious and when she hears rumors of the miasma having an actual source, she is intrigued and wants to find out more. A bit of a bookworm as well, will hole herself up with books to unwind after a stressful day.

History:
Her parents were originally from the Marr's Pass area, where her father worked as a blacksmith. They were two of very few selkies in the area. Eventually they both got tired of all the lilty politics and settled in Torring Peninsula with a small colony of their own kind. They soon found out why this seemingly perfect location had been avoided for so long: Goblin Wall. The goblin infested dungeon was nearby, and goblins loved to pillage. The colony defended the best they could until they were down to just Dee Kat's parents...and her mother was eight months pregnant with her. They were forced to move again. They fled southeast to Torring and the blacksmith begged the town elders for a safe place to stay. Dee Kat was born on that night.

The clavat elders originally told them they could stay "only until the child is confirmed healthy and fit to travel", but ended up keeping them around well into Dee Kat's teen years. Torring lacked a proper caravan, after all. They'd been importing myrrh from Alfitaria but that was getting expensive. They needed a local to go out and get myrrh so it wouldn't need to be imported. The young selkie decided she was up for the job, despite all the danger, while her younger brother stayed behind to help in the forge, although reluctantly because he wanted "adventure" too.

Appearance:
Creamy orange fur with green eyes and brown wings. Roughly the size of his selkie friend's head and neck with a 3' wing span. Head pompom is bright red.

Personality:
Friendly, generally optimistic. Gets annoyed sometimes when his travel companion out runs him in the field when he's carrying the chalice, and will scold her for it and try to lecture her on the effects of miasma on her kind. Has threatened to cast slow on her before, but never actually has.

History:
He was born and raised near Torring, in a moogle nest on the river bank. His parents named him Cheese after his color, but he prefers Chee. Out of the litter of three, he was the only male and the biggest explorer. Every once in awhile he'd stray from the nest, making it farther away each time, and got lost quite a few times. On one of these times, he met a young female selkie. She was just standing on the border of the Torring crystal's aura, no parents in sight.

Turned out they were BOTH lost, but not for long, because the girl's parents found her and gave her a chewing out for running off. She had never seen a moogle before though and wasn't going to go home just yet. "He's lost too! Can we at least help him?"

Chee described where he lived, and the selkie parents happened to know exactly how to get there. He ended up befriending the girl, and is now her travel companion.
